- Location: Go 2 1/2 miles south west of
Hendersonville on the Crab Creek road turn to the right and the cemetery is on
the right side of the road about 1/8 mile from surfaced road. You turn off to
the cemetery about 2 city blocks before you reach Pleasant Hill church which
is on the left on the Crab Creek Road.
The graph above shows a distribution
of graves by family name at the time of the survey. Information below is
recorded directly from the 1937 survey without corrections. The "Age at
Death" was not included with the original survey and I include this additional
information. There are 96 recorded burials in 1937 with the first burial
being M. E. Camp that died in 1887. The most recent burial was Albert
Hamilton Drake that died March 29, 1937. Ema Moore is recorded as
the oldest person buried in this cemetery being born in 1815 with death during
1920. There are 22 buried here (23%) that never reached the age of 10.
